Kids are too fun

Olsen was watching Sesame Street yesterday and the letter of the day was J. Elmo became Jelmo and all he did was jump. Olsen loves to copy what he sees and hears and started jumpin' with Elmo. So very cute.

I was taking pictures of Gabriella while she was sleeping and all of the sudden she starts laughing in her sleep. I couldn't believe my luck.

Close up of Gabriella laughing.

Yesterday we also went to visit Kelton and he has a Thomas the Train track with a whole bunch of train carts that have magnets to hold them together. So when we got home he made a choo choo with his cars. I think I will have to go get a train set now.

Ocean Blue

I never really noticed before, but the light blue of the water can change around. The first picture was taken on Monday and the second picture was taken on Tuesday. What a difference a day makes. If I thought Monday was beautiful, Tuesday was incredible. I've never seen the water look so gorgeous. I also went down by the shoreline and the waves were big and powerful. All the surfers were out and I wonder how many to call in sick. :)

2 more days

Just 2 more days Cara. I'm so excited for you!!! Can't wait to see the new family member.
Love you and I think about you all the time.

Beautiful day

Here is the horrible view that I have to look at everyday from our back lanai. I will miss this view when we move. We will have an ocean view, but nothing like this. You can't beat this. It's okay though, I rather have a nice backyard for Olsen to play in.

Olsen just pushing around his car.

Hey Christian, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE for you and MayLynn to come for vacation. Think about it. :)

The other day Shannon and I did a "drive-by" of the house we are moving to. These aren't the greatest shot, we took them while in the car. It is a very quite dead end road that the house is on.

Here is a shot of the backyard. You can't see it, but there is a lot of grass

Here is the few of the front of the house. They have a privacy wall thing in front of the house that I don't really care for, but it's not too bad. The front doors are glass, so I think that is way they put them up.

And here is the garage. It is not attached to the house, but it is only 10 feet away.

Which one?

Oh my goodness, but my boy is too dang cute. I don't know which one to blow up and hang on the wall.

Some favorite pictures

These are just a few of my favorite pictures from these last couple of weeks that I never posted.

A couple of weeks ago it was our niece Kailey's soccer game at the local high school. All the family showed up. It was a ton of fun and Kailey had the biggest cheer section.

This was taken later that day at Byron's parents house. Avery (Olsen's cousin) was just sitting there admiring the sunset when Olsen decided to sit down next and enjoy the veiw too. I couldn't resist taking a picture.

Here is Gabriella with her toes again. It can be a little hard to change a diaper now that she just wants to play with her toes.

My girlfriend took this pictures of Gabriella and me. Sometimes it's hard to believe that these babies are really mine. They are so wonderful and I love being a mother.

Chilly chill chill

It was so chilly this morning that I put Olsen in his Utah outfit - long sleeves and pants. I was wearing a sweatshirt and I kept little girl in her warm pj's.

Kelton and Nohea came over to play. Favorite game - cars!

Olsen giving kisses when Nohea started to get sad. He LOVES babies.

I'm ready for my close up.

My internet has been down for the last couple of days, so no post. Sorry..... Anyway, this weekend was good. We bought some great couches. We decided against the Costco ones and went for some nicer ones at a different place. I love them, they're black leather. We got a couch, love seat and an over stuffed chair. It is going to be delivered at our new place Feb. 2nd. Now the search is on for a dinning room set.

Olsen Pix/Gabriella's appt

Gabriella had her 4 month Dr. appt today. Shots and all ;,( She wasn't very happy about that. She is 25 inches long now and weighs 15 pounds. Not to shabby. She is also teething like a mad woman. Her poor gums are red and swollen. They look like they are going to pop any second now. Gabriella is getting her teeth way sooner than Olsen did.

Here are some fun pictures of Olsen. He is so cute all the time. I could probably take a hundred pictures of him a day if I wanted to.

Can you see the bruise on his cheek? He did that while playing on my elliptical like it was a jungle-gym yesterday. Hmmm... I wonder if he learned his lesson. Doubt it.

Just being funny on Daddy's lap.

EDIT: just realized all my misspellings. It was late when I wrote this last night.

4 months

Can you believe that Gabriella is 4 months old already?? Where has the time gone. Little Gabriella is laying on her great grandmother's silk scarf that she bought in Spain many many years ago. She had given that scarf to my sister Heather and when Heather passed away, my grandmother took the scarf and handed to me and said I should have it. While living in DC I was able to use it a couple of times while attending different shows and functions. Now I just get to take pictures of my pretty daughter in it. Hopefully one day I will have an event to wear it to.

I couldn't get Gabriella to smile at the camera. These are the best shots. She still looks cute

This one is my favorite.

New sleeping position

This is why one should check on their children in the middle of the night. Byron and I couldn't believe that he was still asleep like this.

Thursday, January 11, 2007

Olsen LOVES to hold his little sister. And it looks like Gabriella doesn't mind to much either.

Gabriella is turning over now.

Bath time

Tonight we had the missionaries over for dinner. We also invited the Kinghorns over too. While we ate the two boys had hydro-therapy (also known as bath time). If they start to get grumpy, just add water. Works every time. They had a blast in the bath together and here they are afterward. They look like big boys in their towels.

My goodness, but I think Gabriella gets prettier everyday!

Nap time

I just went to check on Olsen as he was taking his nap. This is how I found him

I was barely able to squeeze the camera through the door to take the picture. He will some times play for a bit before he will fall asleep (usually on his bed) but not today. You can even see the toy he was playing with in his hand :) He is a funny boy

This is were little girl takes her naps. She sleeps better in her bouncy seat than her crib while napping.

Ahhhhh, I love when they are napping at the same time

No kids pictures

I have don't have any pictures of the kids today, just random pictures I took.

Here is a couch at Costco that I want to get if we move. We don't own a couch right now. We are in a furnished place.

I though this was pretty how Hualalai mountain was poking out of the clouds

This is a funny little hotel in Holualoa town that I drove through today coming home from Costco. My mom should remember this little hotel. We took some pictures there when she came over a couple of years ago.

Play dates

My girlfriend Shannon finally got back from being in Idaho for 2 weeks for Christmas. Olsen has been missing his friend. Our friendship couldn't be more perfect because Shannon has a boy Kelton that is 6 months older than Olsen (they play great together) and a baby girl Eliza that is 2 months older than Gabriella. The girls had a photo shoot this afternoon if you couldn't tell. :)
