Catherine's first day

Today we pick up Catherine from the airport at noon and have been non-stop ever since.  And even though Catherine has been her for only a few hours, the kids LOVE her.  The both want to play with her and sit on her lap.  Hmmmm, I like this, it makes my job much easier.  :)

Olsen and Gabriella showing Catherine where she will be staying.  (Gabriella's room)

Having lunch at Bubba Gumps on the ocean front.  By the time we were done, Olsen was a muddy mess from crawling around the bushes and Gabriella was one big chocolate pudding mess.
After lunch, we drove down south to Kealakekua Bay.  Famous for it's beauty and the spot where Captain Cook was killed.

Yes, little girl is naked.  I wasn't kidding when I said she was a big pudding mess.  We had to strip her down to her diaper.  Good thing is a loving 85 degrees here.
Olsen found some stickers and Catherine was such a dear and put them all over Gabriella

Olsen didn't like the fact that Gabriella was covered with sticker and helped take them off.

Windy days

It has been crazy windy weather the last couple of days. CRAZY WINDY. I'm not kidding when I say the roof is about to fly off. In fact I ask Byron if he could stay home today. He gave me the look like I'm crazy (okay, so I might be). We have to have all windows closed or everything will be blow everywhere. That also makes it kind of stuffy in here.

Here are some pictures I took yesterday in our front yard. As you can see, the palm tree leaves are all on one side.

Cowboys and .............

Dinosaurs.
Olsen is a boy. He can spend hours having his toys attack each other. So funny.

Here the dinosaur is sneaking up on the cowboy

Attacks cowboy.

Loses and falls of the edge

Now they are chasing each other around the table

Olsen got a brand new hat

While Grandma Suzy was here, Olsen was always carrying around Woody's (a doll from "Toy Story") cowboy hat. It was pretty cute. Mom and I looked for one at K-Mart, but couldn't find one. Last night Byron and I went to Wal-mart and found a black cowboy hat. We also found a couple new horses for the kids too. It was time to say goodbye to the old ones.
Oh, one more thing, Olsen will take off his hat and bow now. I don't know where he got it from, but I love it. So random, but so cute.

Gabriella has got the hang of riding the horsey. Here, she and Olsen are giddy-upping before church.

Pretty girl Gabriella

Now she just wants the camera

Olsen LOVES he new hat

Beach with Grandma

Here are a million pictures of when we went to the beach while Grandma was in town.

I love how Olsen is carrying his buggy board. He has been watching "Surfs up" and that is how they carry their surf boards.

Olsen and Grandma enjoying the water together

Olsen "surfing". I'm actually impressed by how brave he is in the water. Swimming lesson's are paying off.

Olsen climbing and exploring the rocks
Gabriella cruisin' the cost line.

Can you find Grandma?
Sand castle time.

Bath time

Sometimes I cheat and I give Gabriella a little bath in the sink. There are just some night that I'm to tired/lazy to give a full fledge bath. This is quick, easy and out in 2 minutes. I even rinse Olsen this way too. But we only do it on days that they aren't too dirty. :)

Hair Cut

It was time once again for Olsen to get a haircut. I don't know why I wait so long between haircuts. Oh yah, it's because it's a pain in the behind to do. You would think there were nerve endings in each hair by the way Olsen cried during his hair cut. Anyway, he is looking handsome with his new do.

Here they are again right before bed. They are wearing their Halloween PJ's. I love them. Gabriella's glow in the dark. Oh, and Olsen really did not want to get his picture taken.

See how cute my kids our in their matching PJ's from Aunty Fely, Uncle Ken and CJ. Here they are just kickin' it on Olsen's bed before bed.

Oh, I got Olsen a real sword........

Gabriella is a pro at getting off beds now.

Knight in shining armor

Every time I vacuum, Olsen believes he must fight this evil thing. One of his favorite movies is Sleeping Beauty and loves the part were the prince attacks the which/dragon on his horse. So, Olsen gets on his horse and since he doesn't has a sword he uses a train track. The boy cracks me up. Don't mind all the water down his shirt. He had a hard time drink out of a cup that day.
