Olsen 'n' a box

So the other day Olsen climbs into the box and start saying "picture, picture" then start to point up in the kitchen and says "up, picture". Yes, he remembers when Daddy put him up on top of the cupboard and wanted to do it again.

Gabriella is so funny. She likes to kick up her feet and hang out in the high chair.

Here Gabriella is standing and is actually lifting the bat. In fact yesterday she took 4 steps and did it a couple of times. I couldn't believe it! Of course by the time Byron came with the video camera she was no longer in the mood. Only a matter of time now.......

Fun Pictures

Here are some more pictures of the kids while Auntie Jo-Jo was in town.

When I left the house to pick up Joanna at the airport I found this in our bamboo by our front door. Kind of cool if you ask me.

Gabriella LOVED the apple Auntie Jo-Jo gave her.

Oh, the kids loved being twirled around in the office chair by Joanna.

Luau

Friday night I took Joanna and two neices for SLC to Byron's luau. We had a blast. In fact, we were the "fun girls" in the crowd. We kept hootin' and howlerin' at the dancers (it makes the luau much more fun when the audience gets into it) and had a great time. Byron also picked up Joanna to dance on stage with him. If only Clint was here to see it...... :)

At the table waiting for the show to start

Sunset on the beach. You can't really see because the flash wouldn't go off.

Pretty Jo-Jo enjoying the view

Byron dancing on stage for the Tongan number

Joanna workin' it

and workin' it some more

After the show the dancers line up to take pictures. You don't want to get too close because they are smelly and sweaty

Joanna in town

It was great having Joanna here for a couple of days. We picked up at noon and then later headed for the beach. Here are pictures from Kua Bay. One the most beautiful beaches if you ask me.

1.....2......3.....

Jump!

Gabriella kept head butting the sand on purpose. She's a funny girl.

And she can stand for over a minute. Just a matter of time before she walk.......

Hangin' in the bathroom

I don't what it is, but the kids love to hang out in the bathroom. That is why I keep nothing under the sink. It appears to be their "fort". Well, it's going to be a quick post, I have to finish getting the house ready for Joanna. I pick her up at the airport at noon. I'm so excited. Yeah for auntie Jo-Jo.

Gabriella can open doors all by herself now. Oh my goodness, but she is too pretty!

Olsen decides to join her.

Poor Olsen

Poor guy, he got dropped on his head by his daddy and has a huge goose egg to prove it. The other day at the Home Depot parking lot Byron had Olsen on his shoulders and when he lifted him off, Olsen started to wiggle and fell directly on his head. Both Byron's and my heart fell with him. Fortunately after only an hour of crying he was ok. We were ready to take him to the hospital if needed, but it looks like kids are made to bounce a little.

I think daddy was ready to buy him a pony......

Gabriella is lovin' her new walker.

The house

Here is the front of the house. It is yellow and cute. The front yard needs a little TLC (maybe we should fly out Victor to help) and we get to it as soon as we can. I guess this yard is on the bad list of the association because it is looking unkept. That's what happens when the owner lives in Honolulu. That's on a whole other Island for those of you who don't know.

Here are the kids being so good as I stepped out and took the pictures. Yes, we turned Gabriella forward a little sooner than you should, but she does weigh 20 pounds and is much happier facing forward.

The house we bought!

Okay, so it's not ours yet, but we are in the process. Just 29 more days. We actually just bought a washer, dryer and fridge that is to be delivered Aug 4th. YEAH!!!

The walls are plain white at the moment, but that is the first to change. Been looking at different paint chips. Oh forgot to take pictures of the outside, but will go back and take one soon. The backyard is only rocks and dirt and Oslen is loving it. Next year we will probably work on that. For now, we're just happy to have a house.

Sleeping Girl

Now that little girl is no longer nursing, she loves her pacifier. She also a breeze to put to bed. Lay her in her bed, give her a pacifier and let her sleep. Here a couple of cute shots of her sleeping.

Hanging out

The other night after dinner Olsen wanted to ride all his bikes. Fortunately he was willing to share with his sister. They had fun riding around and being pushed around.

Gabriella tried to push herself, but didn't get very far.

Good thing her brother was there to help her

Then she said "forget it, I'm out of here" and walked off

But she did let her daddy give her a spin on the trike

Olsen calls his car a truck so he can be like daddy

I thought the sky looked really cool in this picture
