Karate Kid

The last pictures were from copies the teacher sent home, so I thought I would go check it out myself. It went pretty good, but then he start to cry and wanted to go home with me. Which ended up being okay because he is sick and has a tempt. of 103 tonight. Poor kid.

So it's been awhile

I'm surprised my mom hasn't disowned me :) Well, nothing too much is going on in the Harris household. Olsen is still loving school. He comes home singing new songs everyday. So very cute. He is also coming home with a few new words, like poopy-head. It was very hard to keep a straight face as I told him that is not a very nice thing to say and he shouldn't say it.   Gabriella is two today and we will be having a family party for her on Sunday with her two cousins who's birthdays are also this week.
Here are some random pictures from last week.

Gabriella found my lipstick again
Olsen and Kelton had fun digging in the dirt.  I love the matching dirty left eyes

This is how Gabriella fell asleep the other day.  She has never done that before.  Such a nut.

New lights

We (in we, I mean Byron) put new lights on our walk path and on our garage and front door. I love them.

Are old lights were solar which never got fully charged and were really easy for Gabriella to ripe out all the time. These are wired and in the ground for good. We still need to install one more because we had to exchange one that was broken. Hopefully Byron will be able to get to it in the next day or two.
Our new lights.  I drove around our neighborhood and only one other house has changed the lights from the really CHEAP plastic ones that came with the home.  Come to think of it, I don't know why we didn't do it earlier.  We talked about it, but never did it.
Close up.  We have the same one at our front door, only smaller.
My pretty orchid.  I love orchids!
Olsen and Gabriella goofing around in their room today.  They love each other.

swim time

Even though the grass in the back isn't fully grown, we can still play on it a bit. I bought a swimming pool and the kids had a blast.

We got bunkbeds for Olsen's room and they now share the room.  I rearranged the room a bit and still need to and a few things here and there, but it is looking good.  Oh, and Olsen doesn't like to sleep on the top bunk my himself and always ask to sleep on Gabriella's bed.  It's pretty cute that they sleep together.  It as been 5 days and they are going to bed with no problems.  I love it.  (ordered new matching bedding, it's suppose to get here Thursday.  I'll take another picture then)
I took down the closet doors and put selfing in and now all the toys are organized in bins in the closets.  I bought a shower rod and curtains and I think it looks good and it makes it really easy for the kids to get the toys in and out.
