Happy Halloween!

I love Halloween. I wish I threw a party or something, but that would take a lot of planning and energy and I really don't have either one at the moment.   I did decorate the house though, pretty cute too :)  This week we carved our pumpkins and Olsen thought it was pretty cool.

Here is a picture I snapped this morning before Olsen went to school.  As you can tell, they were not in the mood.
I carved the one on the left and Byron carved the skull on the right.  It's kind of wilting already.  Olsen made the one in the middle at school.
Last week the temple planted a tree in my FIL's honor.  Here is the spot before it is planted.  It will be fun to come back and take pictures when our kids get married.

Olsen was very attached to his hat that day
Almost done.  Of course our battery died, so this is the last shot we got.

Pictures of Olsen

Hmm, it seems the last couple of post have been about Olsen. I guess it's his week :) I took some shots of him the other day in our front yard to frame, but I didn't really like any of them. They're still cute, so I thought I would share them with you all.

Well, maybe this one.  He lookin' pretty cute.

Olsen's family birthday party

Saturday we had a family BBQ at our house. Wow, it's a lot work when hosting 25+ people at your house. We had the tables set up on the lawn in the back and the kids mostly played out there, but when it got dark everyone came inside, our house got small real fast. But it was still fun having everyone over. We had the Kinghorn's over too and Olsen had a great time playing with Kelton.

Birthday boy.  He told me he LOVES his birthday.

How old are you Olsen?  FOUR!  He will tell how old he is all the time

He had a good birthday
I just had to share this picture.  Gabriella likes to still with a stuff animal and here she tucked Tasha (cartoon hippo) in bed with her.  I've even seen her tuck-in 5 or so stuffed animals on her pillow were there is no room for her.  Reminds me of her Aunt Heather :)

Olsen's school birthday party

Friday we celebrated Olsen's birthday at school. It was so fun and the students had fun. I love Olsen's school. I guess they go out for everyones birthday. When I got there they had balloons and a crown for Olsen. I brought cupcakes and little grab bags for all the kids and Teacher Jan (she is the owner of the school) had ice cream and presents, even one for Gabriella too. Olsen loves his birthday.
When I got there all the kids were sitting down eating lunch
Then Teacher Nikki took the kids up on the grass to read a story while we set up for cake and ice cream.
