Pictures

Here are some pictures of before we went to Utah. I meant to post them before we left, but ran out of time.

Here are the two cuties right before bed. They've got their PJ on and are ready for "night night"

Olsen received a music set for his birthday from his Aunt and Uncle (I still think they are making up for all the crazy LOUD toys Byron gave their kids growing up) and has really enjoyed it. Sometimes the instruments have to take a "time-out" though.

Yes, I believe they can be TOO cute sometimes.

All about a girl

Gabriella is getting good at sitting up. Okay, so maybe it's just for about a minute, but that is pretty darn good. :)

Sittin' and chillin' with Nohea

Gabriella slept in her own crib last night for the first time. She was sleeping in her bassinett in our room, but now she is a big girl (all of 5 months) and sleeps in her own room.

Showing off her new outfit. She is getting so big, she has already grown out of her 6 month clothes.

Play date

Today Shannon came over with Kelton and Nohea. And boy did the boys have a busy day.

First they played T-ball.

Then catch

And finally rolling down the small hill.

All the while, they girls were hanging out on the lania.

All in all, it was a very fun day.

peek-a-boo and slam dunk

While I was making dinner tonight I put Gabriella in her jump-a-roo next to the kitchen. All of the sudden I hear this "boo" "boo" and I look over and there is Olsen playing peek-a-boo with Gabriella with the vertical blinds. Normally I wouldn't let him play with the blinds, but he was being so cute I couldn't tell him to stop.

Olsen is starting to warm up to the new house. The first night we were here he wouldn't stop crying and didn't fall asleep till 12:30. I was able to tempt him to take a bath by buying a new net and ball for it. He loved it and had to go to bed with tonight. Funny boy.

Moving

Okay, three words for ya - MOVING IS HELL. I don't ever want to move again. I can't believe the amount of "stuff" I have collected in the three and half years I've been married. Here are a couple of shots of the house. We are still putting things away and will take more once the house is completely put together. Hopefully it will be done before we live for Utah next week.

This was taken right at the front door an hour after I got the keys to the place. The kitchen is the door on the right and the laundry room is right before the storage selves you see on the left. As you can see, the entryway is stone and then hardwood floors in the main living areas and what you can't see is carpet in the bedrooms. Shannon came over to help me put the kitchen together while Kelton and Olsen played with the trains in a very empty living room.

Here is the kitchen with the dinning room in the back. Oh, we now have our dinning room table and I love it. I will post pictures of that later.

These were taken today while Olsen was playing outside. When we were in Utah last spring Olsen would play with Westwoods t-ball and I have always wanted to get one for him ever since but couldn't. Now I can.

We have a banana tree in our side yard. How cool is that. They are ripe and I need to figure out how to cut them down.
