10 days
Gabriella is 10 days old today. She is changing every day. I think she is getting prettier every day.
Wow, now with two kids life is very different. Some days are harder than others. It has been pretty smooth so far, but today is one of the harder day. Little Olsen has been naughty all morning. Nothing too big, just testing his limits with everything. And his "soft" pats on the head to Gabriella were a little harder than normal today. He did just get up from his nap and seems to be in a better mood. Hopefully the mood will stay for the rest of the day.
Good news though, I was able to take a shower and clean the kitchen while Olsen was taking his nap today. I love nap time. That is the only time of the day I am able to get things done.

New Pix of Gabriella
We've got a few pictures online of Gabriella after her first week at home.
We've been really blessed in that she only eats and sleeps (along with a few other eventualities) and she rarely fusses. I remember with Olsen, when he cried it was as if the apocalypse was just down the hall. Gabriella's cries are rather soft and few and far between. We can tell already that she has a darker complexion than her brother, but her eyes are still on the clear blue side.
The transition to two kids at home has been easier than I expected, but Marta may have a slightly different tale to tell. I'm in charge of the boy in the morning and once I get home from work. But from what Marta tells me, during the day Olsen has been pretty cooperative. That was my biggest fear, so I'm glad so far it has been a problem.
Stay tuned as Marta will certainly be posting her account of the past few days.

Cars anyone
Last day at the beach?
On Labor day Monday (38 weeks pregnant) we decided to hit the beach one more time. It is called the childrens pood because as you can see it is a little lagoon with no big waves. It is great for Olsen because he can go in and out of the water without being knocked over by a wave. Grandma Susie also loved it was she visited in July.

Welcome
And here is our first post to our blog. We figured we would follow the crowd and jump off the cliff.
As is expected, we'll be tossing up pictures now and then as well as giving updates on all the happenings of our lives in dreary ole Kona, Hawaii. Yes, pity us for we are doomed to this rock for eternity.
Here's a taste of what to expect from us. Please keep the evny at a minimum.
