New pair of shoes

Well..... more like slippers. My SIL Ana bought them for Gabriella and gave them to my MIL to give to me. When I first saw them, I thought they were interesting looking, but didn't really get it. My niece (Ana daughter) came over to baby-sit and asked if I like the slippers. I said I thought they were cute but that I couldn't figure out what animal they were. She then told me they were from China and they were Lions. Like the ones they have in the parades and stuff. Now that I know what they are I think they are the coolest slippers ever. I love them. There is a lot of work on the soles of the slippers too. You can't really see in the pictures, but trust me, it's really pretty.

Olsen cracks me up. He pretends to talk on the phone while on his bike. Ummm, I wonder where he got that idea from..... :)

Gabriella loves to show off her plank. She is trying to show off to her uncle Graham. We were on our way to the pool (just signed Olsen up for swim lessons) and Gabriella decided to show off. She has been doing it for awhile now. Just waiting for her to crawl. Any minute now.

Sunday afternoon on the sea shore

After General Conference today (it ends at noon here) and decided to walk on Alii Drive. It was such a beautiful day today. You couldn't help but want to go down to the water and take in the sights. We also want to tire Olsen out for his nap and the walk worked.

Monday night FHE

Monday night all the Harris crew got together for FHE. It was great. We have now decided to get together every other month for FHE. It is so important for the family to stay close. I'm so lucky that we are a close family. I just love'em all!!!

On the move - sort of

Gabriella can get around. Well, sort of, she can do a 360 on her belly and scoot backwards. It's pretty cute. She gets a little frustrated when she gets herself suck though. Here is the proof. :)



She is also getting pretty close to crawling. She gets on all fours and start to rock a bit. You can till she wants to do something, she's just not sure what. Give her a couple of weeks and I'm sure she will be zooming all over the place.

Beach day with cousins

This week and last week has been spring break on the Island. Today the Harris crew from Hilo drove over and all off us went to the beach. We went to Kua Bay and it was beautiful. The water is that amazing blue that you only see on tv. It is a little tricky to get to because you have to walk across a lot of lava rock to get to the sandy part of the beach. It is great beach for teenagers, but a little to much for little children. I think I still prefer my children lagoon that we always go to.
Too tired to explain each picture, but as you can see, we had a lot of fun.

Play-doh time

I decided to finally break out the play-doh. Olsen loved it. A few months back I tried and all I he did was eat it. Gabriella had a good time watching.
