So, while weeding and mowing our yard this weekend, we learned that we have a pest control problem. There are roaches, fire ants and about a million other kind of bugs living in our yard. Now don't get me wrong, I know there should be bugs in the garden, but I knew this was not the kind that should be living there. I called Terminix this morning and now I have a man down here power spraying our yard and the perimeter of the house. At first when I was talking to George, he was telling me there are garden roaches and the usually don't come into the house, but stay outside. Well, as we were walking on the grass he takes a closer look at the million bugs and realizes that they are German roaches, the kind that hang out in kitchens. So he says, "yay, you want these gone". Then we keep on walking around and he points to the ants and says "oh, these are fire ants, you want these gone". Byron mentioned that that ants were attacking him and stinging him while mowing yesterday. So I guess this is what happens when you leave a house neglected for 2 years on an island that bugs LOVE to live on.

Ahhhh, the car that will kill them all

Weeds, weeds and more weeds.......
We have been up to our eyeballs with weeds this weekend. I am not kidding. I've never seen so many weeds in all my life. It took 4 hours to weed with both of us working on it. It was insane. I wish I took pictures of the backyard because it was a forest of tall mean weeds. Byron didn't have time to help with backyard, so I've mainly cleared these last couple of days.

After, still didn't mow the lawn yet, but Byron mowed it today
And here he is mowing our lawn for the first time.

Yesterday Shannon came over with Kelton and Nohea. The boys had a blast together, and by the pictures you can tell the girls had a good time too.
Gabriella can get on and off her scooter bike all by herself. She is so advanced, she can even do it backward (let's not mention that is the only way so knows how)
And she can climb all the way up and stand on it (only a matter of time before a trip to the ER)

Million pictures
Our niece Echo babysat for us on Friday night while we went to a movie (Stardust - LOVED LOVED LOVED it)
Trying to take a picture of Gabriella's top side tooth, but she was more interested in her nose
so cute my little girl
So we finally held her upside down.....
To get this picture of it. It is so funny looking when you see it while she is smiling.
Olsen and Gabriella enjoying refreshments on my bed while watching Backyardigans. I'm busy folding laundry....
Bath time tonight. It is so nice to have a normal size bathtub to bathe the kids in.
Olsen was pretty sneaky tonight. I didn't realize he had brought his pillow and blanket out in the hall till I walked by. He is so funny, that boy.

Crawling? That was so two weeks ago
It offical, Gabriella is walking. She has been walking for little over a week now. It is amazing how she gets better and better everyday. Before you know it, she will be running. (She just made 11 months today!)
Gabriella enjoying her pasta last night
Byron got Olsen "bulls-eye" horse to go with his Woody doll. He likes to put Woody's hat on the horse.
